WHO IS ESRA ASLAN?
I completed my undergraduate degree in general psychology with honors at the University of Connecticut, Bridgeport. During this time, I also took psychology courses at Yale University. I later earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in Illinois. After receiving my master’s degree, I worked for five years as a Mental Health Counselor in a hospital setting. I strive to adopt a holistic approach with my clients and often combine different therapeutic techniques. The success stories of my clients and their application of theories and techniques fill me with immense pride and joy.
My overall goal with clients is to help them find the path that best suits their specific needs. I prioritize guiding them on their journey of self-discovery, hoping that despite their trauma or challenges, they will ultimately learn to love and accept themselves.
I believe understanding who you are and where you come from is key to understanding your journey and experiences in this world. I truly enjoy working with people from all walks of life and guiding them towards happier, healthier lives.
